1. You should rest for at least 15 minutes before measurement, and take continuous measurements with an interval of at least 2 minutes.
2. Avoid taking blood pressure measurements under these conditions: just after exercise, just after eating a full meal, after bathing, after drinking or smoking, when constipated or when you have the urge to urinate.
3. Measurement should be done in a correct posture and in a room with a suitable temperature.
4. Measurement of blood pressure should not be done only once, but several times during the day, and record it in order to understand the changes in your blood pressure during the day.
5. After using the sphygmomanometer for a long time, it is recommended to calibrate the sphygmomanometer in order to ensure the accuracy of use. Traditional mercury sphygmomanometers are affected by thermal expansion and contraction and should be calibrated once every six months on average, while electronic sphygmomanometers are affected by the aging of components and other components and need to be calibrated once every year on average.
6. Electronic sphygmomanometers should not be dropped or exposed to water and should be used in accordance with the instructions.
